Sinopsis:

The film begins 25 years after the revolution. Alec (Robert Patrick) has become a sullen, retiring man burdened over losing his wife and daughter, while Jake is now a lieutenant in the Red Faction. Jake is informed that the remains of the EDS Hydra, an EDF warship destroyed by Alec at the end of the revolution, is falling to Mars and must be searched for valuable technology. When searching the Hydra, with the help of Tess, an Earth technology expert, he discovers a group of Mauraders dressed similar to the ones he remembers kidnapping Lyra, carrying away a device from the ship. Jake attacks one to discover it is a soldier who he believes to be Lyra.


Jake returns and insists to Alec and others that his sister is alive, but nobody believes him. Jake decides to desert to Maurader territory to find her, and is accompanied by Tess, who wants to recover more technology. Jake abandons Tess and is discovered by Mauraders that night, whom he manages to befriend reluctantly. The three make their way to Asimov Sector to find the White Faction, where Tess finds them and is angered for being abandoned. Tess helps steal tracking codes to find the White Faction soldiers through a device after they could not afford to buy them from the dealer. Tess also discovers the soldiers took a “Firework” from the crashed Hydra, which is part of a nuclear reactor.

Back in Eos, Alec discovers Jake is missing and so he contacts Matriarch Omaya, leader of the Mauraders, to grant him mercy for trespassing into their land. Jake and Tess find the White Faction soldiers hiding in a ship near the terraformers, which create a habitable atmosphere but also disrupt radar to hide the White Faction's ship. Jake finds Lyra who recognizes Jake but believes him to be dead, so she captures him and Tess. The White Faction leader, Adam Hale, tricked her into believing her family was dead and he saved her, which she still believes even after finding Jake. Leonid and his companion, Jake’s Maurader friends, and Tess escape and return back to Eos. Jake warns the Red Faction that the White Faction took the Firework to attack Eos under the guise of Mauraders, starting a war between the two. The Red Faction doesn’t believe Jake and arrests him for treason and desertion. A new White Faction EDS Hydra, hidden under the ship Jake infiltrated, fires on Eos and prompts the Red Faction to mobilize an attack on the Mauraders.

Sinopsis:

A sequence of aerial shots begins high in the misty Alps. Gradually we descend, flying over pastures, lakes, and castles in the lush Salzkammergut foothills. We then hear birds. In a pasture on the top of a hill we find Maria (Julie Andrews), exulting in the musical inspiration she finds there (“The Sound of Music”). We learn that she is a postulant in Nonnberg Abbey, where she is constantly getting into mischief and is the nuns' despair("Maria").


Maria's life suddenly changes when a widowed Austrian Navy Captain, Georg von Trapp (Christopher Plummer) writes to the abbey asking for a governess for his seven children. Mother Abbess (Peggy Wood), unsure of Maria's suitability for working there, asks her to take the position on a probationary basis; previous governesses, though, have not lasted long. She is worried about what awaits her at the von Trapp household, but is determined to succeed ("I Have Confidence").

Maria, upon arrival at the von Trapp estate, finds that the Captain keeps it in strict shipshape order, blows a whistle, issues orders, and dresses his children in sailor-suit uniforms. While they are initially hostile to her, they warm to her when she comforts them during a thunderstorm (“My Favorite Things”). Liesl (Charmian Carr), the oldest, who is "Sixteen Going on Seventeen", sneaks into Maria's window after a secret meeting with a messenger boy, Rolfe (Daniel Truhitte). At first she is adamant that she "doesn't need a governess", but Maria offers to be her friend, and she acquiesces. Maria teaches them how to sing ("Do-Re-Mi") and to play, sewing playclothes for them from discarded drapes that were in her room.

Sinopsis:

Eight years after the events of the first film, Detective Marcus Barnett (Martin Lawrence) and Detective Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) are investigating the flow of ecstasy into Miami. Their surveillance of boats coming in from Cuba leads them to a KKK meeting/drug drop in a swamp, Mike accidentally shoots Marcus in the buttocks which leads Marcus to further question if he still wants to partner with Mike.


Meanwhile, a neurotic Cuban kingpin named Johnny Tapia (Jordi Mollà), who supplies Miami's drug traffic, tells his men to change the boat's schedules once again. Two members of the Russian Mob, Alexei and Josef, receive drugs from Tapia to run their nightclub businesses, but end up giving nearly half of their profits to Tapia. Alexei and Josef go to negotiate with Tapia to recoup some of their profits, but this ends in Josef's murder by Tapia's men and Alexei's forced surrender of his Russian nightclubs after his wife and son are threatened by Tapia.

Meanwhile, the relationship between Mike and Marcus' sister, Syd, who also happens to be undercover with the DEA as a money laundering agent for the Russians, continues to develop from an earlier rendezvous in New York. During her first assignment, a Haitian gang attempts to hijack the transport and kill Syd. An intense fire fight and car chase ensues between the gang members and the Miami Police/DEA and devastates the local area. Marcus and Mike learn of Syd's actual work, which makes Marcus unhappy.

Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) are best friends and detectives in the narcotics division of the Miami-Dade Police Department. One night, $100 million of seized heroin is stolen from a secure police vault. This is a major blow to Burnett and Lowrey, because it was the biggest drug bust of their careers. Internal Affairs warns Miami PD that if they do not recover the drugs in five days the narcotics division will be shut down.


One thief, a former cop named Eddie Domínguez, is found dead at a hotel suite, shot to death by his boss, French drug kingpin Fouchet. Fouchet also kills an escort, Maxine "Max" Logan, who was hired by Eddie. It is revealed that she is also one of Lowery's ex-girlfriends and one of his major informants. The only witness to the crime is Max's best friend Julie Mott (Téa Leoni), who watched the crime from the upper balcony of the suite.

Although she has not met Mike, because of Max's relationship with him Julie will only trust and deal with Lowrey. However, he is away when she contacts the police about the murders, threatening to run if she does not speak to Mike. Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano) forces Burnett to impersonate Lowery to get Julie to cooperate. In order to continue the deception, Burnett and Lowrey switch lives. Burnett tells his family he is going to Cleveland for a case, leaving Mike to stay with them. Burnett then moves into Lowrey's apartment with Julie and her dogs. In Julie's presence, Burnett poses as Lowery while Mike poses as Burnett.
